sNOw way!

The title really has nothing to do with this entry in the Engage Blog. I just wanted to be creative with the fact that late last night Christy and I were on our balcony, watching snowflakes hit the ground. I love snow. Some people hate it, but I like it!!

Well we had some crazy events this last weekend. First we'll start with the Junior Highs. Man, you guys are creative! We created some FABULOUS mini golf holes last friday. I liked one of the holes, because I could always get under par... I think it was at a PAR 32 or something like that. The Senior High night was interesting to say the least. I thought that Plant and Run (the band) really did well! And how about those bagpipes? James you rock! And what was David Walz thinking? Quad shot of espresso... well, I could mention the skit, but I won't.

Ok, well the rain is here... the cold November rain. (Anybody else know that song? GNR?) Anways, doesn't it just make you drag around? Well, good thing there are YOUTH EVENTS THIS WEEKEND! WOOHOO!

uh.... sorry for screaming...just really excited for the weekend.

Anways I'm really pumped. Fer shizzle yo! (as Nick would say... or that dogg guy) I'd just like to tell all of you, that my computer died this week. Yep. Completely. So if you have emailed my telus email... you may or may not get a reply from me... depending on if I can get in there to check. So, things are quiet coming from me for the next few days... less Engage spam and more of that other type. you know, the annoying spam. The spam that makes you think of the food spam everytime you see it... right? It's sorta like a cross between Ham and Catfood. (the low in ash type). Makes you wanna eat some eh? Can you smell it cookin' like a couple slabs of back-bacon?

One more fast-food story for you. The other night, Christy and I were going through the drive-through and I thought, "Wouldn't it be funny if I pretended like I was a restaurant inspector?" So, with Christy egging me on.. the conversation at the drive-through window... a-went, a-like, a-dis....

"So sir, that will be *insert amount here* for your meals", she says.
"Hey yah, I'm an inspector and your kitchen looks really clean! Everything seems to be great." I said.
"Uh, ok... *insert awkward pause here*... thanks?" she said.
"ah, just joking... I'm really not an inspector." I said
"Oh... ok." she said"

...... and that was about it. weird, but really funny. Thought I'd share it... or was it one of those "maybe you had to be there"? So for all of you who read this before Crave tonight, shout out "Drive through window!" right after I say welcome to Crave. It might get ya a prize! Last week, Sarah B won a prize. You could be next!

On to um... better things... This weekend is going to be sweet. Junior highs, bring all da friends you have. This is going to be one crazy mini-golfing night!! And Senior highs, bring all those talents because we've got a packed evening filled with.... you guys! Lotsa fun with goodies and specialty drinks. Restaurant breaking...

What do you think about people who break stuff in restaurants? huh? Well, when it happens to you, do you get embarrassed? I was out for lunch at Red Robin today and the ketchup slipped out of my hand and broke my empty glass! Heh, good thing it was empty... I coulda spoiled a perfectly good iced-tea!

Anyways, Crave tonight. Always a highlight for me. Hey, let's do something fun. Tonight at Crave, if you've read this blog, as soon as I say "Welcome to Crave", you can shout out "Red Robin". STING! pong

At the Sr. High Qwanoes weekend, crazy things happened! Our friend Caleb fell out of a tree and landed on people, some random guy was blowing a whistle down the road (uh, that was me), and 2 words... "STING PONG". This along with other things made this weekend so cool. Oh, I almost forgot about the boys testing how hot we can get the sauna. We found the temperature gauge and thought if we submerged it in cold water, we might actually get the temperature to increase.. I think we managed to get it 10 degrees above normal. Which is pretty good eh?

Some of you have been asking what "like-a-lucka-looga" means. Well, I'll tell all ya'll once... it means "It's just the way it goes". And yes, I made it up.... Like-a-lucka-looga!
