...on with the bearded beardedness...

So, on with the bearded beardedness..... so whatcha think? new look for Mr. Wes? No, I don't think so. Poor guy, his electric razor must have stopped working.... er... or something.

Ok Ok, the concert was sweet. Kiros was really good! Oh the fun we had in that mosh pit. Except, for some reason a lot of girls didn't want to go in?! Crazy eh? Who would have thought? Hey, and where was that "the Nick" guy?? apparently he was 'stutterflying' somewhere else.

Current news and stuff&stuff... If you are in Junior high, SIGN UP FOR EQUIP!! And if you are in Senior high, look forward to the upcoming Surftrip in June!! It's going to be sweet.

Oh well, enough's enough of this stuff (whoa, that was one WEIRD rhyme!)... I'll see ya'll tonite at Crave, eh?!!

Till next time...

Kiros IN CONCERT!

Yep Kiros is coming this friday at 8pm and we're going to have one kickin' time! So bring your friends, buy a ticket beforehand for $8 or at the door for $10!

Anyways. I'd like to inform everyone that I'm sporting 'the beard'. Yep, that's right a beard. So please don't stare, laugh, mock or make strange. Just joking, it actually doesn't look bad. Maybe because now I'm older, and I can pull it off. I mean, c'mon I'm a daddy right?

The Gooder: I was struck by a verse in Galatians yesterday that I'd like to share. Galatians 2:10 says "All they hasked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do". Paul is writing about his talks with Jesus' disciples, and points out that what was very important to them both... remembering the poor. This past week a bunch of us went to the Baja of Mexico to do just that! I definitely want to remember the poor too. It seems so selfish for us to sit here in our wealth when others have hardly anything. Well, those are my thoughts, comment or discuss what you like.

till next time...

Olympic competing

Canada rocks eh? Man we did so well with the Olympics this year. Last Friday we had some pretty cool Olympics of our own! Junior highs competed in Curling, Hockey, Speedskating and Luge. My personal fave was the Luge. I wasn't very good at it though. Kudos to Zack and Sydney who held the lead for a bit, but lost it to the grade 9 boyz from Canada. They really cleaned up eh? Oh, and last kudo (or shout out) to Paige, who sacrificed her glove for the sake of the games... I guess slowing down was hard to do on that Luge machine?!

If you are a Senior high and thinking "Man, why didn't we do this?" well, you are! March 12th there's the Senior High Olympics. Pretty sweet. Compete in those 4 events and see if you win Bronze, Silver or Gold!

On to other stuff. What's wrong with my dancing abilities? Apparently I was mocked for doing a breakdance that looked like a ho-down. *Ahem* if I were to ho-down... you'd know it! Anyway, I guess I'm not good at everything. And for the record, I wasn't mad... actually thinking of what I thought was breakdancing was quite a laugh. I'll call my little dance, "Squashing Ants". Yeah, it will be the coolest thing ever, and every kid in Victoria will do it... ok, maybe not.
